Mike was a great captain and guide. Took my son out, who had his mind set on Mahi. We caught some mid size tuna and amberjack and looked like we might run out of time to land a Mahi, but Mike took us to one more spot and my son hooked a 20 pounder. Mike talked him through the fight and now we’re having Mahi for dinner. Awesome trip!!

We had a great trip with Mike and Garrett they made sure we were safe comfortable at all times. It's like fishing with a friend and a buddy when you're out with those guys kept us busy on fish all day. Very knowledgeable of local Waters and understanding of our safety being that we are both disabled I will definitely see them again and again.

We had such a great time on our fishing trip with Papa Bear Charters!!! Michael & Neil are so friendly and they helped my husband & I and our son with fishing! These guys are the best of any fishing charter in the area! It was like spending the day with family! Our son caught a 40” King Fish in the first few minutes and I caught a large Barracuda; we caught many other fish, including a grouper! Papa Bear Fishing are the best!!!

We had an amazing time. Fishing was great, Michael and Rudy did an awsome job. They both work really hard to get you on fish. Highly recommend them as guides

Consider yourself lucky in life if you’re reading this. Not only are you about to hit some of the best nicest looking fishing grounds on the east cost, you’re going to hit them with a couple great local experts. Been fishing off Singer Island many times and this was one of the best!

Rudy and Mike were top notch in every aspect. From the start of the trip they made sure we were comfortable and ready to get on the fish. And we did catching Rainbow, Black tip sharks, King fish and others. The entire 8 hr trip the lines were out all baited and ready. Again I can't thank Rudy and Mike enough for a great trip my kids will remember for a lifetime. We will definitely be back!!!

Rudy and so were great !!! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Both fully allow you to take the reel and bring in the fish doesn’t matter how big or small the fish. Live bait was key to larger fish. Wet out in off singer island ocean caught a shark , 5 lb barracuda, 16lb tuna , grouper, strawberry grouper , lots of fish . Rudy and Mike also filet fish for us and gave recommendations for restaurants to take our fish to eat. We enjoyed two awesome dinners from our catches !!!!! Awesome time highly recommend.

We went on a six hour fishing trip with Papa Bears Charters. When we got there, they were ready to go. We went a couple of miles out and caught tuna and mahi. We then came closer to shore and we caught snapper and king fish. They were knowledgeable and patient. I appreciated they had put bait the hooks and cast them for us. At one point, we were reeling in three fish at once! My family and I had a great experience and made wonderful memories. Thank you so much!

We had a great fishing trip with Captain Rudy and First Mate Mike. From the moment we stepped aboard, they made us feel welcome, safe, and excited for the day ahead. Captain Rudy is clearly a seasoned pro—his knowledge of the waters and ability to find the best fishing spots was unmatched. We were pulling in fish in no time! Mike, the first mate, was equally amazing. He worked nonstop to keep our lines ready, baited, and untangled. He was super friendly, patient with beginners, and had a great sense of humor that kept everyone in high spirits. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Whether you’re an experienced angler or brand new to fishing, this team makes it easy to have a fun and successful day. I can’t recommend this charter enough—Captain Rudy and Mike are a top-notch crew. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Had a wonderful trip today with Captain Rudy and Mike. I am not someone to usually write reviews, but after today’s trip high praise was well deserved. Whether you’re with your family or friends this is the kind of charter company should be looking for. Today we caught two kingfish, a black fan tuna two mahi-mahi and a barracuda. Today’s trip created unforgettable memories with my five-year-old son. Thank you very much guys.
